Dear fellow Drovakians,
Tonight, as lights glow across our screens and homes, we gather, no matter where in the world, to mark the holy season of Christmas. At its centre, Christmas is a story of hope born in humility. It reminds us that light comes into the world not through power or wealth but through love, faith, and service. The birth of Christ speaks across the centuries, calling us to compassion, courage, and care for one another.
As a digital microstate, Drovakia may not be bound by borders of land, but we are bound by shared values. We are a community built not merely on technology, but on trust. Not merely on innovation, but on integrity. Christmas invites us to reflect on how we live out those values – not just in words, but in actions.
This year has brought its share of both challenge and growth. We’ve seen that the most powerful force in the promotion of progress is not merely wealth or might, but conscience guided by justice. And we have learned that freedom, as desirable as it is, is more so when given the ring of responsibility. In the many tries and exhortations facing us, faith reminds us that we are never completely alone and that the smallest gestures can reflect resonance far beyond what appears.
As I wish our citizens a renewed peace and joy in this season, let me similarly say that to people of other faiths or none, to all of us, the spirit of Christmas, with its message of goodwill and generosity, may still find a home in our lives.
May this season remind us to speak softly, lead humbly, and to build Drovakia as a place where truth counts, service is honoured, and hope is never abandoned. On behalf of the Digital Republic of Drovakia, I wish you a blessed Christmas and a new year led by faith, wisdom, and unity.
